On October 2, 2008, Sunny Delight Beverages Co. announced it has signed an agreement to purchase Fruit2O water and Veryfine juice brands from Kraft Foods Inc. The transaction is expected to be completed during the fourth quarter.

The Veryfine plant in Littleton, Mass. will be part of the acquisition, as will a state-of-the-art packing line at a Kraft facility in Fresno, Calif. As part of the transaction, approximately 200 Veryfine employees will join Sunny Delight.
